Why It's Important To Give Value...

Giving feels amazing doesn't it? Think of how good it feels at Christmas when you find the perfect

gift for someone you love. As you watch them open the gift you are filled with this sense of overwhelming gratitude and love... and when they smile and jump up and down screaming with so much delight over the perfect gift they have just received from you you could almost cry because you are so happy. Think of your potential clients feeling this way when they communicate with you. What value, or gifts, are you offering to your clients? Giving value is essential to attracting clients into your business. Giving value, especially without the intention of receiving anything in return is a great way to attract clients.

In his book, Influence: The Science Of Persuasion by Robert B. Cialdini, PHd, he talks about how effective giving is when it comes to sales. When someone receives a little gift, even if a small piece of valuable information they then feel a little indebted to the giver. Then, when they are ready to purchase a product or service they will be more likely to purchase from the person who gave them value.

Attraction marketing is a non-intimidating way to attract clients to your business. When you give value to your clients and show them how what you do will enhance their life and solve their problems they will be attracted to you and more likely to want to give you their business.

Here are some simple ways you can give value to your ideal client:

- Post a written blog or live video to your Facebook page that answers a question your ideal client may have. This answer is valuable to them and will help them solve a problem of some kind.

- Host a webinar that provides your client with great value. Perhaps this webinar answers many questions your ideal client will have or educates them in some way.

- Write a book and give it away to your ideal client as a gift, especially when it is a topic that will help them.

- Invite your ideal client to a speaking event or an appreciation event that allows them to hear you speak more in depth on an interesting topic that gives value to them.

Hope this helps!
